Henry Santos

Coach Henry brings a rare blend of military discipline and elite athletic pedigree to the volleyball court. After 20 years of active duty, he transitioned to coaching, carrying forward the leadership and precision built over two decades of service. His athletic career includes playing college baseball, member of the US Military All Stars, and competing for the Men’s National Team in the 2000 Olympic Games qualifier — experience that gives him a deep, firsthand understanding of what it takes to compete at the highest level.

Within the Diablo Valley Volleyball Club, he has coached the 15 Black, 16 Green, and 17 Gold teams, as well as Diablo’s 13 Black squad in summer league play. He currently serves as the JV Head Coach at Carondelet High School, where he continues to develop players’ skills and love for the game.

Outside of volleyball, Coach Henry treasures time with family and enjoys traveling, bringing the same dedication to his personal life that he brings to coaching.

Volleyball has been my absolute favorite sport for as long as I can remember. I spent four years on varsity in high school, played DS/Libero at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, where I earned my degree in Psychology before moving to the US. These days, when I’m not working, you can find me traveling the country playing high-level competitive volleyball with my travel squad—something I've loved doing for the past 5 years!

Having previously coached U12 girls at NC Coastal Volleyball Club, my focus is on building holistic, well-rounded athletes who are strong, confident, and genuinely happy on the court. We won’t win every single game, but we will always show up to learn, grow, respect one another, and build lifelong team bonds. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and kick off an amazing season together!

Practice Schedule

Two Practices per Week - Mondays & Wednesdays

Optional Training with AEL Fitness - One 1-Hour Session per Week
Additional $500 for the Season (November - March)

Season Cost - $4,350

Payment Schedule:

  • Deposit (Due at Commitment Night) - $1,000
  • November 15th - $850
  • January 15th - $850
  • February 15th - $850
  • March 15th - Remaining Balance

  • Equipment & Supplies

Cost does NOT include: Uniforms, Airline, Travel, Hotels, Etc.
