Jeany Cave

Hi, my name is Jeany Cave and I have been coaching volleyball for over 25 years, and this is my third year coaching with Diablo. I first developed my love for the sport when I played in school. Since that time I have coached various age levels from 13’s - 18’s, junior high, high school, and club.

I had the great opportunity to coach both of my daughters, and now they too are coaching their own teams up in Oregon where they now live. I took a brief break from coaching during my youngest daughter’s senior year of high school so I could enjoy her last year. Once I retired from the Fire Service, I decided it was the right time to return to coaching, and Diablo is my perfect fit.

I grew up playing sports and was introduced to volleyball at 12 years old. I played outside hitter during my time at Campolindo High School and then went on to play NCAA Division I volleyball at the University of Hawai’i as a defensive specialist. I graduated from college in 2021 and recently returned home to California. The first club I ever played for was Diablo Valley Volleyball Club and I am excited to be back!

Practice Schedule

Tuesdays & Thursdays | 5:00pm - 6:45pm at Tice Valley Gym

Additional 1-Hour Fitness Training Session - Wednesdays

Practice Starts the Week of August 17th!

  • Deposit (Due at Commitment Night) - $1,000
  • September 15th - $1,350
  • October 15th - $1,350
  • November 15th - Remaining Balance
