Hayden Zollars

I started playing volleyball in 2008 on a 14’s team with Diablo Valley. I played six years of club with Diablo from 2008-2013 and always had such a great experience with all my teams and coaches. I also played at Deer Valley High School and was awarded BVAL 1st Team All-League and Team MVP my senior year. I played four years of club volleyball at Sonoma State University while earning my degree in Computer Science. I took on the roles of Women’s Volleyball Club President and Team Captain to help lead our team to win the 2018 Division II NCVF National Championship.

Since graduating, I have been involved with Diablo, coaching and assisting various teams and helping players of all ages and skill levels at camps and clinics. My goal as a coach is to help players develop their volleyball skills and knowledge of the game to their fullest potential in a fun and positive environment. I am excited to continue coaching as it has proven to be such a rewarding experience to help players reach their goals and realize their love for the game just as I have!

I have been playing volleyball since I was in 7th grade. Although I never had an inspiration for playing I was persuaded to try out for the school team in 7th grade. Since that day it’s been my passion. After playing for so many years and meeting new coaches, I knew coaching was my next route. My goal as a coach is to help improve players to have confidence in their skills.
